These Streets Magazine is launching their 4th issue on November 1st 2019. With Boston as the city of focus, the magazine is taking its first leap outside California from the previous features in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Each magazine issue highlights a group of photographers, carefully selected on the way they capture real-life. The 4th release includes 9 native Bostonians: Jeff Larason, Ben McCosh, David Amirault, James Berkeley, John Jordan, Boris Apple, Juan Murray, Katie Swanger and Iaritza Menjivar.
In tandem with the magazine launch, there will be a gallery exhibit to showcase the work of each photographer in the Boston issue. The exhibition will take place with the Fort Point Arts Community at their Atlantic Wharf Gallery from November 1st to January 10th. Opening night is at 6PM.
Included in the 4th magazine are artist biographies and statements about what fuels their ambition to pick up a camera and photograph your city. Previous magazine releases focused on the photography of the featured artists.
With each magazine launch, These Streets hosts a free photowalk, where community members of all ages are encouraged to participate. The photowalk will take place on November 2nd 2019 at 10am meeting up at Leica Store Boston.
